As a general practice, we work with project contractors, they serve as intermediaries. We can help you find a project contractor in your area, they are always ready to help!
The only exception is large companies that have their own purchasing department. As this department also handles the service issues, they can purchase our products directly.
Yes, many of our products can be ordered in custom colors and finishes. Our design team works closely with architects and designers to create bespoke solutions. Custom options may include special wood stains, fabric selections, and powder coating colors. Please contact us to discuss your specific requirements.
We have a whole range of trial furniture to choose from. As a general practice, we cannot make a custom chair for trial placement – it is only possible at an additional cost.
Since we work on a project basis, all our prices are already calculated for large order quantities. Therefore, even if you place a small order, you always get a price calculated for a large quantity. This makes our products affordable and maintains our pricing policy fair for all.
Also, we do not include the transport costs in the price. If we did, it would be easy to say that we offer a discount for larger quantities. This is, in fact, the surplus of the calculated transport costs included in the product price (transport costs decrease as the order amount increases).
There are certain custom products for which a minimum order quantity applies. If that is the case, you will see this information in the price list. ‘Special’ configurations, not covered in the price list, need to be discussed separately to make sure they are possible. Please let us know your wishes, and we will be happy to provide you with the applicable order conditions and prices.
Most of our collection is presented in our showroom in Duiven – you can always make an appointment to visit us or book a virtual tour. As an alternative, we can also offer some furniture for a trial placement.
You can request samples through our website, contact your local representative directly, or email us. We will be happy to support you with material samples, finish swatches, and product information from our headquarters.
You can easily find our digital information and other materials in our Asset Library. Or browse our products on our website.
Material innovation drives everything we create. We refine PETfelt production, optimise aluminium processing, and perfect FSC-certified wood finishing. Each material is selected for its performance, recyclability, and production efficiency.
De Vorm’s warranty period is very extensive and is stated on our website. Different warranty conditions apply to different products, depending on a product type and / or materials. Please contact us if you have any questions regarding our warranty policy.
De Vorm uses a price list that is indexed annually. We try to keep indexation to a minimum, however, we are also dependent on our suppliers. Therefore, we can’t always provide long-term price guarantees. Please contact us and specify the order in question and the required term of price guarantee, so that we could give you a definite answer.
You can find the currently available certifications per product in our Asset Library by choosing a product and type of certification.
If the required certificate is not available on the website, please reach out to us.
No, the current PET Felt technology doesn’t allow us to use recycled plastic only. There is a percentage of virgin fibres in PET Felt as well.
Currently, the PET Felt used to make De Vorm’s products has up to 60% of recycled content. We are constantly working on improving the process in order to increase this number.
We produce locally in Western Europe. All the plastic bottles used to make De Vorm’s PET Felt collection come from European sorting centres.
We can make our PET felt panels fire resistant upon request, by applying special fire treatment. You can find more information about the applicable surcharges in our price list. The fire-resistance certificates of the Mute panels with fire treatment can be found in the Asset Library
Our PET Felt panels are formed by heating and pressing, therefore, they contain melt fibres. Under the impact of heat and pressure, the fibres melt and hold the felt together in a sturdy form. If you were to reheat the PET panels, these melt fibres would melt again and the PET panels could deform. There are different melt fibres with different melting temperatures. We advise not to heat the PET Felt for a long time above a temperature of 80°C.
Currently, PET Felt collection of De Vorm includes 11 unique colour blends. Producing a custom colour is a laborious and costly process. Therefore, custom colours can only be developed for very large orders. In such cases, there will be a surcharge.
Yes, all of the PET Felt products can easily be recycled after their use.
No, PET Felt material used in De Vorm’s products does not emit any off-gases, like volatile organic compounds (VOCs).
Find more information about the PET Felt Technology on our website.
Our standard delivery term ranges from 6 to 8 weeks. In some cases, the delivery may take longer than 8 weeks. If this is the case, we will inform you in advance. Also, some general exceptions are stated in our price list.

The first and main reason for such a policy is transparency. We want to make it clear to our customers about what a product price is and what transport costs are.
Also, we charge the transport costs without any profit margin. These costs are calculated on the basis of volume, final destination, method of transport and possibly the special delivery requests. In order to take all these factors into account in the product price, we would have to make our products considerably more expensive.
By charging the transport costs separately without the profit margin, we ensure that every customer gets the best possible offer. At the same time, we work with regular transport partners with experience in furniture transport. This ensures that the products arrive undamaged. We see this as part of our quality policy.
Sustainability is not an afterthought at De Vorm. It has been at the core of how we design and produce. We pioneered PET felt furniture, transforming recycled plastic bottles into high-performance acoustic pieces. Our aluminium is locally recycled using renewable energy, producing 80% less CO2 than virgin aluminium. Our wood comes exclusively from FSC and PEFC certified forests in Western Europe.
We produce most of our components within 250 km of our facility, keeping transport distances short and our supply chain transparent. Our packaging uses recycled or recyclable materials only.
But sustainability for us goes beyond materials. We design for longevity, so furniture doesn't need to be replaced. And we design for end of life, so when it is, every component can re-enter the cycle.
Yes, we design our products with end-of-life considerations in mind. Our materials are chosen for their recyclability, and we provide guidance on proper disposal and recycling when products reach the end of their useful life.

We produce most of the product parts under our own management. For that, we collaborate with several suppliers from Western Europe. This means that most of our product components are produced within a radius of 900 km. Moreover, the vast majority of them are produced within a radius of 250 km.
We strive to keep our packaging as sustainable as possible. For that, we use recycled or recyclable materials, such as corrugated cardboard and certified wooden formworks. Moreover, we try to keep the number of packaging materials at a minimum and work with transport partners who share the same values.
PET Felt is 100% plastic, making it extremely easy to clean and maintain. In order to remove dust, we recommend vacuuming the PET Felt occasionally.
Due to its porous structure, PET Felt can be easily cleaned with copious amounts of water. Water cannot damage PET Felt. In most cases, water is sufficient to remove stains.
If a stain remains, it is advised to dab it with a dry towel while still wet. Do not rub! Rubbing can cause damage on PET Felt and may cause bald spots.
Without dabbing or rubbing collect the stain with a piece of paper towels. Then apply copious amounts of water and see if this is sufficient.
If water is not sufficient, stubborn stains can be removed with qualitative cleaning products like the James cleaning set.
Depending on the source of the stain, the James Cleaning set provides different solutions. Please read the James Cleaning manual for the right treatment of the stain. Clean with detergent and follow the manual as described in the James Cleaning set. In this case it was advised to treat the stain with detergent.
Let it dry naturally and discover that even the most stubborn stains can be removed!
Regular cleaning is important in order to keep the Kvadrat’s upholstery textile looking its best and to prolong its life. Dust and dirt wear down the textile and also reduce its fire-retardant properties.
Vacuum frequently, ideally every week, at half power where appropriate. Wipe upholstery fabrics made from polyurethane with a dry or moist cloth. May also be vacuum cleaned with a soft brush.
Remove stains by carefully dabbing with a cloth or sponge wrung out in warm water. Edge marks can be avoided by dabbing gently in circular motions towards the centre of the stain with a clean cloth. Remove greasy stains by using appropriate detergents or solvents. In all cases, we recommend to test stain-removal agents on an unseen area first, to see if there is any effect on the cover.
It is recommended to try a cleaning product on an unseen side first.
Leather is a very durable animal skin. A natural product that is almost impossible to replace by any other kind of material.
If a stain remains, it is recommended to use a detergent of Ohmann Leather; Prestige Cleaner. Rub Prestige Cleaner into the leather with soft clean cloth. Then rub dry with a soft cloth. This product is suitable for aniline-dyed, semi-aniline-dyed and finished leather.
It is important to maintain leather with a special polish as well. It is advised to use Prestige Care of Ohmann Leather. Rub it into the leather with a clean soft cloth. Allow to dry for approximately 2 minutes. Then rub dry with a soft cloth. Prestige Care is suitable for aniline-dyed and finished leathers. Do not use on nubuck or suede.
Wood is very sustainable. However, because it is a product from nature, wood can be vulnerable sometimes. Our advice is to treat stains immediately if possible.
Moisture a cloth with some water to treat the stain on the wooden furniture. Use just a little bit of water, a wet cloth is not necessary.
If using water only seems insufficient, you can treat the stain with a detergent as well. Please avoid an aggressive cleaning product. Our advice is to use a detergent that is specifically for wood and does not contain bleach, silicones or abrasives.
It is recommended to try a cleaning product on an unseen side first. For example on the bottom of the wooden furniture.
Forbo furniture linoleum collections are easy to clean and maintain. Following these guidelines will ensure that the optimum appearance of the product is retained.
Moisture a cloth with some water to treat the stain on the linoleum furniture. Use just a little bit of water, a wet cloth is not necessary.
It is important to remove spots, stains and spillages as quickly as possible to prevent them from penetrating into the material. The surface can be cleaned with a neutral detergent and water.
If the treatment does not help, try soaking the surface in water with a pH-neutral Universal Cleaner for a few minutes. Scrub the surface gently with a white pad for example. Do not use anything more abrasive than a white pad to clean furniture linoleum. Finish by wiping off the dirty water with a cloth and rinse the surface with clean water and a clean cloth.
For more information, please, visit the official website of Forbo.
Qualitative wood veneer is very sustainable. However, because it is a product from nature, wood can be vulnerable sometimes. Our advice is to treat stains immediately if possible.
Dust the veneer regularly with a slightly damp, soft cloth. Wipe dry the surface in the direction of the wood grain. Any spills or residues should be immediately wiped up with a damp cloth.
If water seems insufficient, you can remove stubborn stains with a special detergent. Please, avoid aggressive cleaning products as they can damage the surface. Our advice is to use a detergent suited for wooden furniture that does not contain chlorine, silicones or abrasives. It is recommended to try a cleaning product on a hidden area first. Follow the manufacturer's instructions when using special detergents and make sure to rinse the surface thoroughly after the treatment.
FENIX surfaces have a unique non-porous external layer, allowing you to keep it neat with simple, everyday care and cleaning.
As with any other material for interior design, a FENIX® surface should be cleaned regularly. It does not require any special maintenance, just a damp cloth with warm water or a mild detergent. Almost all regular household cleaning products or disinfectants can be safely used. For the most common stains, you can simply clean the surface with warm water using a non-abrasive cloth.
Tough stains can be removed with non-abrasive household cleaners or solvents. For older, dried or caked-on stains, use a magic sponge or soft cloth to remove them. After using any solvents, we recommend rinsing the surface with warm water and a mild detergent. Always rinse thoroughly to remove the detergent with clean water, preferably warm.
For the best results when cleaning FENIX, it is important to remember the following advice:
• although very resistant, a FENIX surface must still never be treated with products containing abrasive substances, macro abrasive sponges or unsuitable materials such as sandpaper or steel wool;
• strongly acidic or alkaline products should be avoided because they can stain the surface;
• bleach and heavily-chlorinated products should be avoided because they can degrade the surface. Sodium hypochlorite should be used at concentrations lower than 5%, and for no more than 5 minutes at a time, then rinsed off with a sponge or towel;
• hydrogen peroxide at concentrations lower than 3% should be carefully rinsed off. For concentrations higher than 3%, we recommend avoiding leaving this solution in contact with the surface for more than 10 minutes at a time, and the surface must be thoroughly rinsed with a non-abrasive sponge and then dried well;
• when using solvents, the cloth used must be perfectly clean so as not to leave marks on the FENIX surface. Any marks may, however, be removed by rinsing with hot water and drying well;
• do not use furniture polishes or wax-based cleaners in general, because they tend to form a sticky layer on the FENIX surface that attracts and traps dirt;
• do not use metal scrapers, iron brushes or any other metal tool to remove stains, paint, plaster or other substances from the surface.
Visit the official website of FENIX for the more information.
The High-Pressure Laminate (HPL) is a durable surface material with special performance properties, including chemical, fire and wear resistance.
Wipe the HPL regularly with a damp cloth. Afterwards wipe the surface with a clean, dry cloth. For more thorough cleaning, you can use a regular non-aggressive detergent or soap. Wipe it afterwards with a clean, moist cloth and finally with a clean, dry cloth. Do not use scouring powder or nylon sponges as these might scratch the laminate.
For tough stains, you can use any commercially available washing-up liquid, alternatively, fat-dissolving/degreasing all-purpose cleaners. Strongly acidic, alkaline and heavily-chlorinated products should be avoided because they can damage the surface. Follow the manufacturer's instructions when using special detergents and make sure to rinse the surface thoroughly after the treatment.
Powder coating and wet coating applied on our products is highly impact-resistant, requiring minor maintenance when used in appropriate indoor conditions. Occasional dusting and mild cleaning are sufficient to preserve its appearance in the long term. In case of contamination, we recommend removing the stains as soon as possible using the recommendations below.
Begin by carefully removing any loose residues with a wet, non-abrasive cloth. In many cases, water is sufficient to remove stains from the powder-coated or wet-coated surfaces. You can also use a mild detergent, e.g. pH-neutral liquid hand or dishwashing detergent in warm water to remove dust, salt and other deposits.
For stubborn stains, use recommended solvents only on the affected area, e.g. Isopropyl alcohol (IPA) or methylated spirits and rinse off with clean water. Do not use other aggressive solvents.
After cleaning, rinse the surface with clean water and wipe it with a dry, non-abrasive cloth.
