Sustainable innovation expressed in structure and performance

EDGE Südkreuz Berlin sets a benchmark for sustainable building design as Germany’s largest wood-hybrid construction. The combination of timber and concrete significantly reduces CO₂ emissions while contributing to a healthier indoor climate. The building has received DGNB Platinum pre-certification and integrates smart technologies that monitor and optimise performance. By prioritising efficiency, well-being and adaptable use, the complex demonstrates how future-ready workplaces can support both environmental responsibility and the needs of modern organisations.
